Big changes are looming in agrologistics. It is estimated that 30 to 40 percent of inland goods transport comprises goods with agricultural origins. Globalisation and the increasing power of the specialist trade requires a corresponding increase in agrotransport over long distances and in smaller quantities. This contradicts the idealistic demand for a restriction of goods transport in the cities. This report gives thought to this agrologistics issue in respect to the wishes of her customers and those of transport.

Kwaliteit in Agrologistiek 

The agrologistiek is aan grote veranderingen onderhevig. Naar schatting bestaat 30 tot 40 procent van het binnenlandse vrachtverkeer uit vervoer van goederen die een agrarische oorsprong hebben. Globalisering en de toenemende macht van de detaillist vragen om een toename van het agrotransport over lange afstanden en in steeds kleinere hoeveelheden. Dit is in tegenspraak met de wens tot beperking van het vrachtverkeer in de steden en op Europees niveau. Kortom: in deze bijdrage volop aandacht voor de agrologistiek en de wensen van haar klantenkring en de wenselijkheid van transport.
