Ulphard is a generalist with a background in chemistry. Since 1995, he has worked on various projects at Agrotechnology & Food Innovations. Most of these projects are packaging technology related. In addition, he has much experience with water purification, sludge processing, waste flows and bio-liquids. Most of the technology-related
packaging projects concerned the development of specific protective packagings for
meat, fish, cheese, vegetables, fruits and flowers. These packagings
have specific gas permeabilities which fulfil product demands. Other
projects have dealt with bugs in production processes in the plastic
industry; barrier foils which have lost their properties, loss of product
dimensions, anti-fog additives which function badly, etc. Since 1999, he has
been involved in the development of various environment-friendly packaging
and consumer articles such as decompostible bowls and edible plates. |
